​Islamabad, 15 August 2026: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended felicitations to the President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), Lee Jae Myung, the Government and its people on their National Liberation Day.

​In his letter, the President highlighted that Pakistan attaches great importance to its friendly relations with the ROK. He noted that over the decades, bilateral ties have continued to grow, underpinned by mutual trust, close cooperation and constructive engagement at both bilateral and multilateral levels.

​President Zardari expressed confidence that the two countries will continue to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest including political engagement, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges. He said that he looks forward to working closely with the ROK leadership to further strengthen the bilateral partnership for the mutual benefit of both nations and their people.

اسلام آباد، 15 اگست 2026 :​صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری نے جمہوریہ کوریا (جنوبی کوریا) کے صدر، لی جے میونگ، جنوبی کوریا کی حکومت اور عوام کو ان کے قومی دن اور یوم آزادی پر مبارکباد کا پیغام دیا۔

​صدر مملکت نے اپنے خط میں اس بات کو اجاگر کیا کہ پاکستان جنوبی کوریا کے ساتھ اپنے دوستانہ تعلقات کو انتہائی قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ گزشتہ کئی دہائیوں سے باہمی اعتماد، قریبی تعاون اور دوطرفہ و کثیر الجہتی روابط پر مبنی ان تعلقات میں مسلسل اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

​صدر زرداری نے اس اعتماد کا اظہار کیا کہ دونوں ممالک باہمی دلچسپی کے شعبوں بشمول سیاسی روابط، تجارت، سرمایہ کاری اور عوامی سطح پر روابط میں تعاون کو وسعت دیتے رہیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وہ دونوں اقوام اور ان کے عوام کے باہمی مفاد کے لیے دوطرفہ شراکت داری کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کے لیے جنوبی کوریا کی قیادت کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرنے کے خواہاں ہیں۔
