ISLAMABAD, Mar 11 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday was presented guard of honour here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, a day after he was sworn in as the 14th President of Pakistan.

The president arrived at the forecourt of the presidency in the horse-driven buggy.

After the national anthem, he inspected the guard of honour presented by the smartly turned-out contingents of the armed forces.

Later, the president shook hands with the officers and staffers of the Aiwan-e-Sadr.

 On Sunday, Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa administered the oath of office to President Asif Ali Zardari, a day after he was elected to the office.

اسلام آباد۔11مارچ (اے پی پی):پاکستان کے 14ویں صدر کی حیثیت سے حلف اٹھانے کے بعد صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری کو پیر کو یہاں ایوان صدر میں گارڈ آف آنر پیش کیا گیا۔

قومی ترانے کے بعد نومنتخب صدر نے مسلح افواج کے چاق و چوبند دستے کی جانب سے پیش کئے گئے گارڈ آف آنر کا معائنہ کیا۔

بعد ازاں صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری نے ایوان صدر کے افسران اور عملے سے مصافحہ کیا۔ اتوار کو چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان قاضی فائز عیسیٰ نے صدر آصف علی زرداری سے ان کے عہدے کا حلف لیا تھا۔
