Islamabad, 16 January 2026: Acting President of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani held a meeting with a delegation comprising leading businessmen, traders, investors, industrialists and other prominent figures from various walks of life at the Parliament House on Friday.
The delegation included Ahsan Bhatti, Haroon Nasir, Umar Hussain, Owais Khattak, Hatim Tibani, Shahid Khan, Shoaib Zafar, Aamir Iqbal, Hamza Rehman, Usman Shaukat, Najam Sahar and others.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the overall economic situation of the country, with particular focus on trade, investment, business activities and the performance of various industrial sectors. The members of the delegation apprised the Acting President of the challenges and issues faced by the business community in Pakistan and shared their views and suggestions for promoting trade, industrial growth and investment.
The Acting President was also briefed on developments in the construction sector, the use of energy-efficient control glass in residential and commercial buildings, the real estate sector, and the healthcare industry. The delegation highlighted the potential of these sectors in attracting investment and contributing to sustainable economic growth.
Speaking on the occasion, Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that traders, investors and industrialists play a pivotal role in improving the country’s economy. He emphasized that the growth of these sectors not only strengthens the national economy but also generates extensive employment opportunities, which are vital for the overall development and prosperity of Pakistan.
The Acting President urged the business community to actively promote business and investment activities to contribute to economic stability, national development and prosperity. He said that the government is taking effective measures to create an investor-friendly environment in the country and underscored that cooperation between the public and private sectors is indispensable for achieving sustainable national development.
The Acting President appreciated the delegation’s input and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the business community and facilitating investment for long-term economic progress.

اسلام آباد، 16 جنوری 2026: قائم مقام صدرِ مملکت سید یوسف رضا گیلانی سے تاجروں، سرمایہ کاروں، صنعت کاروں اور کاروباری شعبے سے وابستہ ملک کی معروف شخصیات کے ایک وفد نے پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس میں ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات میں ملک کی مجموعی معاشی صورتحال، تجارت، سرمایہ کاری، کاروباری سرگرمیوں اور مختلف صنعتی شعبوں کو درپیش مسائل پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا گیا۔
وفد میں احسن بھٹی، ہارون ناصر، عمر حسین، اویس خٹک، حاتم طبانی، شاہد خان، شعیب ظفر، عامر اقبال، حمزہ رحمان، عثمان شوکت، نجم سحر و دیگر شامل تھے۔ وفد کے اراکین نے قائم مقام صدرِ مملکت کو پاکستان میں تجارت، صنعت اور سرمایہ کاری کے شعبوں کو درپیش چیلنجز سے آگاہ کیا اور کاروباری سرگرمیوں کے فروغ کے لیے اپنی تجاویز پیش کیں۔
ملاقات کے دوران کنسٹرکشن سیکٹر، گھریلو اور کمرشل عمارتوں میں استعمال ہونے والے جدید انرجی کنٹرول شیشوں، رئیل اسٹیٹ سیکٹر اور صحت کے شعبے سے متعلق امور پر بھی قائم مقام صدر کو تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی۔ وفد نے ان شعبوں میں سرمایہ کاری کے وسیع مواقع اور پائیدار ترقی کے امکانات پر روشنی ڈالی۔
اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے قائم مقام صدرِ مملکت سید یوسف رضا گیلانی نے کہا کہ تاجر، سرمایہ کار اور صنعت کار ملکی معیشت کی بہتری میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ان شعبوں کی ترقی سے نہ صرف قومی معیشت مستحکم ہوتی ہے بلکہ روزگار کے وسیع مواقع بھی پیدا ہوتے ہیں جو ملک کی مجموعی خوشحالی کے لیے انتہائی اہم ہیں۔
قائم مقام صدر نے تاجروں اور سرمایہ کاروں پر زور دیا کہ وہ کاروباری سرگرمیوں کے فروغ میں فعال کردار ادا کریں تاکہ معیشت مضبوط ہو اور ملک ترقی و خوشحالی کی راہ پر گامزن ہو سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت ملک میں سرمایہ کار دوست ماحول فراہم کرنے کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات کر رہی ہے اور قومی ترقی کے لیے نجی شعبے کے تعاون کو ناگزیر قرار دیا۔
قائم مقام صدرِ مملکت نے وفد کی تجاویز کو سراہتے ہوئے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ حکومت کاروباری برادری کے مسائل کے حل اور سرمایہ کاری کے فروغ کے لیے ہر ممکن تعاون جاری رکھے گی۔
