Message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr - 31st March 2025

We should actively fulfill our obligations of Zakat, charity, and Fitrana so that no needy person is deprived of the happiness of Eid,” the president said in a message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 1446 Hijrah being celebrated across the country on Monday. 

The president extended his heartfelt felicitation to the entire nation and the Muslim world on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.  

“This joyous day comes to us after the blessings, worship, and journey of piety during the holy month of Ramazan. Eid ul-Fitr is a gift from Allah Almighty, granted to us as a reward for fasting,” President Secretariat Press Wing in a press release, quoted the president as saying. 

During Ramazan, the president said they strived to attain closeness to Allah Almighty, refine their characters, and excel in deeds of goodness. “This sacred month teaches us patience, endurance, worship, and compassion for the poor. Now, it is our responsibility to follow these lessons in our daily lives that were learnt during Ramazan and to uphold the virtues of sincerity, honesty, and love in our practical lives,” he further added. 

The president observed that the day also taught them the lesson of unity and solidarity among their ranks and stressed that they should strengthen these bonds, support one another and contribute to Pakistan’s progress and prosperity.  

“We must promote brotherhood among ourselves so that our country emerges as a strong and prosperous nation,” he added.  

On the occasion, the president also prayed for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to get freedom and the opportunity to celebrate Eid in peace. 

The president prayed to Allah Almighty to accept their fasts and worship and guide Pakistan on the path of peace and prosperity.

کا عید الفطر 1446 ھ کے موقع پر پیغام

میں پوری قوم اور عالمِ اسلام کو عید الفطر پر دلی مبارکباد دیتا ہوں۔ خوشی کا یہ دن ہمیں رمضان المبارک کی برکتوں، عبادات اور تقویٰ کے سفر کے بعد نصیب ہوتا ہے۔ عیدالفطر اللہ تعالیٰ کا انعام ہے جو  اللہ نے ہمیں روزے کی مشقت  پر عطا کیا ہے۔

رمضان المبارک میں ہم قربِ الٰہی حاصل کرنے، اپنے کردار کو سنوارنے اور نیکیوں میں سبقت لے جانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔ یہ مہینہ ہمیں صبر، برداشت، عبادت اور غریبوں کی مدد کا درس دیتا ہے۔ اب یہ ہماری ذمہ داری ہے کہ ہم رمضان المبارک میں حاصل کردہ  اس تربیت کو اپنی روزمرہ زندگی میں نافذ کریں اور اپنی عملی زندگی میں بھی اخلاص، ایمانداری اور محبت کے جذبات کو برقرار رکھیں۔

عیدالفطر کے موقع پر ہمیں اپنے ان بہن بھائیوں کو یاد رکھنا چاہیے جو معاشی مشکلات کا شکار ہیں۔ اصل خوشی دوسروں کے ساتھ اپنی خوشیاں بانٹنے میں ہے۔ ہمیں چاہیے کہ زکوٰۃ، صدقات اور فطرانہ بڑھ چڑھ کر ادا کریں تاکہ کوئی بھی ضرورت مند عید کی خوشیوں سے محروم نہ رہے۔

یہ دن ہمیں اتحاد اور یکجہتی کا بھی درس دیتا ہے کہ ہم اپنی صفوں میں اتحاد پیدا کریں، ایک دوسرے کا سہارا بنیں اور پاکستان کو ترقی و خوشحالی کی راہ پر گامزن کرنے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔ ہمیں آپس میں بھائی چارے کو فروغ دینا ہے تاکہ ہمارا ملک ایک مضبوط اور خوشحال ریاست کے طور پر ابھرے۔ اس موقع پر میں اہل مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر کیلئے  بھی دعا گو ہوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں جلد آزادی کے ساتھ عید نصیب فرمائے۔

میری اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہمارے روزے اور عبادات قبول فرمائے اور پاکستان کو امن اور خوشحالی کی راہ پر ڈال دے۔ آمین!
