Message on the Pakistan Day - 23rd March 2025

I congratulate the entire nation on Pakistan Day. Pakistan has been established after great sacrifices and untiring efforts of our founding fathers and workers of the Pakistan Movement.

Today, we face significant political, economic, and security challenges. In today’s world, Pakistan must navigate complex realities, tackle economic pressures, and pursue sustainable development. At the same time, we continue to confront the menace of terrorism and our brave Armed Forces are making immense sacrifices to safeguard our homeland. 

Yet, we also possess the potential to overcome these challenges and emerge stronger. The spirit of the Pakistan Resolution reminds us that Unity, Faith, and Discipline should be our guiding principles for success. We should focus on strengthening national security, revitalising the economy, advancing agriculture, ensuring energy security, and creating opportunities for our youth. We must invest in healthcare and social welfare to ensure no Pakistani is left behind.

Following a foreign policy under the guidelines given by the Father of the Nation, Pakistan continues to advocate for peaceful coexistence, regional stability and mutual cooperation. We are determined to build stronger relationships with our neighbours as well as the global community, based on mutual respect and shared prosperity. At the same time, we remain steadfast in defending our sovereignty and territorial integrity. Our Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies have made immense sacrifices to protect our homeland, and we salute their bravery and dedication. 

On this day, we reaffirm our steadfast support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine, who continue their struggle for self-determination. Pakistan urges the international community to take immediate and decisive steps to ensure the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions, allowing the people of Kashmir and Palestine to decide their future. 

The road ahead is challenging, but not impossible. The same spirit that led to the creation of Pakistan can propel us toward a brighter tomorrow. The true strength of Pakistan lies in its people—their resilience, hard work, and patriotism have carried this nation through the toughest of times. I urge every Pakistani to rise above differences, reject division and negativity, and work together to build a prosperous, inclusive, and just Pakistan.

Let us honour the sacrifices of our heroes by shaping a strong, united, and prosperous Pakistan.

میں پوری قوم کو یومِ پاکستان کی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ پاکستان ہمارے بانیان اور تحریکِ پاکستان کے کارکنوں کی عظیم قربانیوں اور انتھک محنت کے نتیجے میں وجود  میں آیا۔

آج ہمیں سیاسی، معاشی اور سیکیورٹی کے بڑے چیلنجز کا سامنا ہے۔ موجودہ دور میں پاکستان کو پیچیدہ عالمی حالات ، معاشی دباؤ سے نمٹنے اور پائیدار ترقی کے حصول جیسے چیلنجز پر قابو پانا ہوگا۔ علاوہ ازیں، ہم دہشت گردی جیسے عفریت کا مقابلہ کر رہے ہیں اور ہماری بہادر مسلح افواج مادرِ وطن کے دفاع میں بڑی قربانیاں دے رہی ہیں۔

تاہم، ہم ان چیلنجز پر قابو پانے اور مزید مضبوط بننے کی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں۔ قراردادِ پاکستان کی روح ہمیں یہ سکھاتی ہے کہ کامیابی کے حصول کیلئے ہمیں اتحاد، ایمان اور تنظیم کو مشعل راہ بنانا چاہیے۔ ہمیں قومی سلامتی کو مستحکم کرنے، معیشت کو بحال کرنے، زراعت کو ترقی دینے، توانائی کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے اور اپنی نوجوان نسل کے لیے مواقع پیدا کرنے پر توجہ دینا ہوگی۔ ہر پاکستانی کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے صحت اور سماجی بہبود میں سرمایہ کاری کرنا وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے تا کہ کوئی بھی پاکستانی پیچھے نہ رہ جائے۔

بابائے قوم کے دیے گئے اصولوں کے مطابق خارجہ پالیسی پر عمل پیرا ہوتے ہوئے، پاکستان پرامن بقائے باہمی، علاقائی استحکام اور باہمی تعاون کے لیے اپنا کردار ادا کرتا رہے گا۔ ہم اپنے ہمسایہ ممالک اور عالمی برادری کے ساتھ باہمی احترام اور مشترکہ ترقی کی بنیاد پر مضبوط تعلقات استوار کرنے کے لیے پُرعزم ہیں۔ ساتھ ہی، ہم اپنی خودمختاری اور جغرافیائی سالمیت کے دفاع کیلئے بھی ثابت قدم رہیں گے۔ ہماری مسلح افواج اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں نے  مادرِ وطن کے تحفظ کے لیے بے پناہ قربانیاں دی ہیں، اور ہم ان کی جرات اور لگن کو سلام پیش کرتے ہیں۔

آج کے دن، ہم جموں و کشمیر اور فلسطین کے عوام کے ساتھ اپنی غیر متزلزل حمایت کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں جو اپنے حقِ خودارادیت کے لیے جدوجہد کر رہے ہیں۔ پاکستان عالمی برادری پر زور دیتا ہے کہ وہ اقوامِ متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی قراردادوں پر فوری اور مؤثر عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنائے، تاکہ کشمیری اور فلسطینی عوام اپنے مستقبل کا فیصلہ خود کر سکیں۔

ہمارا سفر مشکل ضرور ہے، لیکن ناممکن نہیں۔ وہی جذبہ جس نے پاکستان کو وجود بخشا، ہمیں ایک روشن مستقبل کی طرف لے جا سکتا ہے۔ پاکستان کی اصل طاقت اس کے عوام میں ہے—ان کی ہمت، محنت اور حب الوطنی نے ہمیشہ اس ملک کو مشکل ترین حالات سے نکالاہے۔ میں ہر پاکستانی سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ وہ اپنے اختلافات سے بالاتر ہو کر، تقسیم اور منفی رجحانات کو مسترد کرے اور ایک خوشحال،ہمہ گیر اور انصاف پر مبنی پاکستان کی تعمیر کے لیے مل کر کام کرے۔

آئیے! اپنے ہیروز کی قربانیوں کو یاد رکھتے ہوئے ایک مضبوط، متحد اور خوشحال پاکستان کی تشکیل میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں۔
