Message on the Independence Day of Sudan - 1st January 2026

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and personally, I extend my warm felicitations to Your Excellency and to the brotherly people of the Republic of Sudan on the auspicious occasion of your Independence Day.

Pakistan and Sudan enjoy long-standing cordial relations rooted in shared values, a common Islamic heritage, and mutual respect. Our ties are marked by trust, cooperation and consistent support for each other in international forums. Pakistan attaches high importance to Sudan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and stands for unity, peace and stability in Sudan at this challenging time.

Pakistan values its fraternal ties with Sudan and remains keen to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including political engagement, economic collaboration, and people-to-people exchanges, for the benefit of our two peoples. We believe that continued dialogue and cooperation will contribute positively to regional peace and shared prosperity.

I avail myself of this opportunity to convey my sincere wishes for the continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the Republic of Sudan, and for Your Excellency’s good health and success in leading your country towards progress and development.

میں اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان کی حکومت، عوام اور اپنی طرف سے جمہوریہ سوڈان کے برادر عوام اور آپ کو یوم آزادی کے پرمسرت موقع پر دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔

پاکستان اور سوڈان کے درمیان دیرینہ خوشگوار تعلقات قائم ہیں جو مشترکہ اقدار، مشترکہ اسلامی ورثے اور باہمی احترام پر مبنی ہیں۔ ہمارے تعلقات اعتماد، تعاون اور بین الاقوامی فورمز پر ایک دوسرے کی مسلسل حمایت سے عبارت ہیں۔ پاکستان سوڈان کی خودمختاری اور علاقائی سالمیت کو بڑی اہمیت دیتا ہے اور اس مشکل وقت میں سوڈان میں اتحاد، امن اور استحکام کا حامی ہے۔

پاکستان سوڈان کے ساتھ اپنے برادرانہ تعلقات کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے اور باہمی دلچسپی کے شعبوں بشمول سیاسی روابط، معاشی تعاون اور عوامی سطح پر روابط میں دوطرفہ تعاون کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کا خواہاں ہے تاکہ دونوں ممالک کے عوام مستفید ہوں۔ ہمارا یقین ہے کہ مسلسل مکالمہ اور تعاون علاقائی امن اور مشترکہ خوشحالی کے فروغ میں مثبت کردار ادا کرے گا۔

میں اس موقع پر جمہوریہ سوڈان کےلئے امن، استحکام اور خوشحالی کے ساتھ ساتھ آپ کی صحت و سلامتی اور آپ کے ملک کو ترقی اور پیش رفت کی راہ پر گامزن کرنے میں کامیابی کےلئے دلی نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کرتا ہوں۔
