Message on the National Day of Thailand - 05th December 2025

At this difficult time, I wish to express Pakistan’s deepest sympathy and solidarity with the Government and people of the Kingdom of Thailand in the wake of the recent devastating floods in the southern provinces. The tragic loss of life and the impact on over one million households is a stark reminder of the urgent need for regional and global cooperation to confront the challenges of climate change, which is affecting South and South East Asia more severely than many other parts of the world. Pakistan, too, is experiencing the increasing consequences of climate change and stands ready to work with Thailand and the wider region to enhance resilience and preparedness.

I extend my sincere felicitations to the Government and people of Thailand on their National Day. Pakistan and Thailand have enjoyed a warm friendship for many decades, built on mutual respect and shared interests.

Pakistan values its longstanding ties with Thailand and remains committed to deepening cooperation in areas that serve our mutual interests. Our engagement at regional and international fora reflects a shared understanding on many issues.

We appreciate Thailand’s efforts to promote peace, development and regional stability. Pakistan values its constructive role in encouraging dialogue, economic links and people-to-people contact. We will continue to support initiatives that advance regional harmony and collective well-being.

As Thailand celebrates its National Day, the people of Pakistan join the Thai nation in wishing lasting peace, prosperity and progress. Pakistan looks forward to working more closely with Thailand to build a future shaped by shared priorities and steady friendship.

کا  تھائی لینڈ کے قومی دن  پر  پیغام

 میں تھائی لینڈ کی جنوبی صوبوں میں حالیہ تباہ کن سیلاب کے بعد، اس مشکل گھڑی میں، تھائی لینڈ کی حکومت اور عوام کے ساتھ پاکستان کی گہری ہمدردی اور یکجہتی کا اظہار کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ قیمتی جانی نقصان اور دس لاکھ سے زائد گھرانوں پر پڑنے والا اثر اس امر کی یاد دہانی ہے کہ موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے علاقائی اور عالمی تعاون کی فوری ضرورت ہے۔ جنوبی اور جنوب مشرقی ایشیا دنیا کے دیگر کئی خطوں کے مقابلے میں موسمیاتی تبدیلی سے زیادہ شدید متاثر ہو رہا ہے۔ پاکستان بھی موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے بڑھتے ہوئے اثرات کا سامنا کر رہا ہے اور اس سے نبرد آزما ہونے کی استعداد میں اضافہ کے لیے تھائی لینڈ اور خطے کے دیگر ممالک کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرنے کے لیے پُرعزم ہے۔

میں تھائی لینڈ کی حکومت اور عوام کو اُن کے قومی دن پر دلی مبارک باد پیش کرتا ہوں۔ پاکستان اور تھائی لینڈ کئی دہائیوں سے باہمی احترام اور مشترکہ مفادات کی بنیاد پر دوستانہ تعلقات رکھتے ہیں۔

پاکستان تھائی لینڈ کے ساتھ اپنی دیرینہ وابستگی کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے اور باہمی مفاد کے تمام شعبوں میں تعاون بڑھانے کے لیے پُرعزم ہے۔ علاقائی اور عالمی فورمز پر ہماری شمولیت متعدد امور پر مشترکہ فہم کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔

ہم خطے میں امن، ترقی اور استحکام کے فروغ کے لیے تھائی لینڈ کی کاوشوں کی قدر کرتے ہیں۔ پاکستان مذاکرات، اقتصادی روابط اور عوامی سطح پر رابطوں کو فروغ دینے میں تھائی لینڈ کے تعمیری کردار کو سراہتا ہے۔ ہم خطے میں ہم آہنگی اور اجتماعی فلاح کے لیے جاری اقدامات کی حمایت جاری رکھیں گے۔

آج تھائی لینڈ کے قومی دن پر، پاکستان کے عوام تھائی قوم کے ساتھ پائیدار امن، خوشحالی اور ترقی کی نیک خواہشات میں شریک ہیں۔ پاکستان مشترکہ ترجیحات اور مضبوط دوستی کی بنیاد پر ایک بہتر مستقبل کی تعمیر کے لیے تھائی لینڈ کے ساتھ مزید قریبی تعاون کا خواہاں ہے۔
