Message on the National Day of Australia   - 26th January 2026

On the occasion of the National Day of the Commonwealth of Australia, I extend my warm felicitations to Her Excellency Ms Sam Mostyn, Governor-General of Australia, and to the people of Australia.

Pakistan values its friendly and constructive relations with Australia, grounded in mutual respect, shared democratic values, and a long-standing record of cooperation across diverse fields. Our partnership continues to evolve through regular political dialogue, growing trade and investment links, educational collaboration, parliamentary exchanges, and strong people-to-people ties.

I am confident that enhanced leadership-level engagement and sustained institutional cooperation will further deepen mutual understanding and expand collaboration in priority areas including trade, investment, agriculture, education, climate resilience, innovation, and regional and global issues of shared interest. Pakistan looks forward to working closely with Australia to advance our common objectives for peace, stability, and shared prosperity.

آسٹریلیا کے قومی دن  کے موقع پر، میں عزت مآب محترمہ سیم موسٹن، گورنر جنرل آسٹریلیا، اور آسٹریلیا کے عوام کو دلی مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں۔
پاکستان آسٹریلیا کے ساتھ اپنے دوستانہ اور تعمیری تعلقات کو قدر کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے، جو باہمی احترام، مشترکہ جمہوری اقدار اور مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون کی طویل روایت پر مبنی ہیں۔ ہماری شراکت داری باقاعدہ سیاسی مکالمے، تجارت و سرمایہ کاری کے بڑھتے ہوئے روابط، تعلیمی تعاون، پارلیمانی تبادلوں اور عوامی سطح پر مضبوط روابط کے ذریعے مسلسل فروغ پا رہی ہے۔
مجھے یقین ہے کہ دونوں ممالک کی اعلیٰ سطحی قیادت کے درمیان روابط میں مزید اضافہ اور ادارہ جاتی تعاون کے تسلسل سے باہمی تفہیم مزید مضبوط ہوگی اور ترجیحی شعبوں، بشمول تجارت، سرمایہ کاری، زراعت، تعلیم، موسمیاتی مزاحمت، جدت، اور باہمی دلچسپی کے علاقائی و عالمی امور میں تعاون کے نئے مواقع پیدا ہوں گے۔ پاکستان امن، استحکام اور مشترکہ خوشحالی کے مشترکہ اہداف کے حصول کے لیے آسٹریلیا کے ساتھ قریبی تعاون کا خواہاں ہے۔
