Message on the Kashmir Solidarity Day, 5 February 2025

Acting President, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, in his message on the occasion of Kashmir Day, stated that the entire Pakistani nation, along with the Senate of Pakistan, expresses complete solidarity with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Kashmir Solidarity Day provides us with an opportunity to renew our resolve to stand by the people of the illegally occupied Kashmir in their struggle for the right to self-determination.

He emphasized that the people of the occupied Kashmir have been steadfast in their struggle for freedom, making immense sacrifices over decades. Their determination and courage serve as a beacon of hope for freedom fighters worldwide. The grave human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir by India present a stern test for the conscience of the international community.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani reiterated that Pakistan has always supported the right of the occupied Kashmir to self-determination and will continue to offer full support on diplomatic, moral, and political fronts. He called on all international forums, including the United Nations, to play an effective role in ensuring that the people of occupied Kashmir are granted their rights.

Acting President, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani concluded by urging all Pakistanis to show full solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters on Kashmir Solidarity Day and to send a powerful message to the world that Kashmir is the lifeblood of Pakistan, and we will never leave its people alone.

قائمقام صدر نے یوم کشمیر کے موقع پر اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ آج کے دن پوری پاکستانی قوم اور سینیٹ آف پاکستان اپنے کشمیری بھائیوں اور بہنوں کے ساتھ مکمل یکجہتی کا اظہار کرتی ہے۔ یوم یکجہتی کشمیر ہمیں اس عزم کی تجدید کا موقع فراہم کرتا ہے کہ ہم کشمیری عوام کی حقِ خودارادیت کی جدوجہد میں ان کے شانہ بشانہ کھڑے ہیں۔  

انہوں نے کہا کہ کشمیری عوام نے دہائیوں سے بے پناہ قربانیاں دے کر اپنی آزادی کی جدوجہد کو جاری رکھا ہوا ہے۔ ان کا عزم اور حوصلہ دنیا بھر کے حریت پسندوں کے لیے مشعلِ راہ ہے۔ بھارت کی جانب سے مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں انسانی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزیاں عالمی برادری کے ضمیر کے لیے ایک کڑا امتحان ہیں۔  

قائمقام صدر نے کہا کہ پاکستان ہمیشہ سے کشمیری عوام کے حقِ خودارادیت کی حمایت کرتا آیا ہے اور آئندہ بھی سفارتی، اخلاقی اور سیاسی محاذ پر ان کی بھرپور حمایت جاری رکھے گا۔ ہم اقوامِ متحدہ سمیت تمام بین الاقوامی فورمز سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ وہ کشمیری عوام کو ان کا حق دلانے میں اپنا مؤثر کردار ادا کریں۔  

قائمقام صدر نے مزید کہا کہ تمام پاکستانی یومِ یکجہتی کشمیر کے موقع پر اپنے کشمیری بھائیوں کے ساتھ بھرپور یکجہتی کا مظاہرہ کریں اور دنیا کو یہ پیغام دیں کہ کشمیر پاکستان کی شہ رگ ہے، اور ہم اس کے عوام کو کبھی تنہا نہیں چھوڑیں گے۔
