Message on the occasion of Shab-e-Miraj - 16th January 2026

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The blessed occasion of Shab-e-Miraj stands as a profound expression of spiritual elevation, complete faith and closeness to Allah Almighty for the entire Muslim Ummah. On this sacred night, Allah Almighty bestowed an honour upon His beloved Prophet, Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him), that transcends human understanding and continues to serve as a source of guidance for believers.

The event of Miraj teaches us that through firm faith, patience and obedience, a person can aspire to the highest moral and spiritual ranks. It also reminds us that hardships and trials are temporary, while the mercy and support of Allah Almighty are enduring.

On Shab-e-Miraj, the Muslim Ummah was granted Salaah, which establishes a direct and constant bond between humankind and the Creator. Salaah is not merely an act of worship. It is a means of self-discipline, character building and a sense of collective responsibility, forming the foundation of a just and balanced society.

On this occasion, I call upon the nation to reflect on the message of Shab-e-Miraj and bring it into our daily lives by promoting tolerance, respect for the rule of law, social justice and compassion for humanity. We must each play our part in building a state where peace, patience and moral values define our national character.

At a time when the world, and particularly the Muslim Ummah, faces complex intellectual, social and humanitarian challenges, Shab-e-Miraj offers a message of unity, perseverance and hope. This blessed night reminds us that shared challenges can only be addressed through solidarity and moral resolve.

I pray to Allah Almighty to grant Pakistan peace and security, national harmony and sustainable development, and to enable us to move forward as a strong, dignified and welfare-oriented state.

May Allah Almighty grant us the wisdom to understand the message of Shab-e-Miraj, to live by it and to pass it on to future generations. Ameen.

کا شب معراج کے موقع پر پیغام

الّلہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم فرمانے والا ہے۔

شبِ معراج کا بابرکت موقع پوری امت مسلمہ کےلئے روحانی بلندی، کامل ایمان اور الّلہ تعالیٰ کے قرب کی عظیم علامت ہے۔ اس مقدس رات الّلہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے محبوب نبی حضرت محمد مصطفیٰﷺ کو وہ عظیم الشان اعزاز عطا فرمایا جو انسانی فہم سے بالاتر ہے اور جو اہل ایمان کےلئے سرچشمۂ ہدایت بنا رہے گا۔ 

واقعۂ معراج ہمیں یہ سبق دیتا ہے کہ پختہ ایمان، صبر اور اطاعت کے ذریعے انسان بلند ترین اخلاقی اور روحانی درجات تک پہنچ سکتا ہے۔ یہ ہمیں یہ بھی یاد دلاتا ہے کہ آزمائشیں اور مشکلات عارضی ہوتی ہیں جبکہ الّلہ تعالیٰ کی رحمت اور نصرت ہمیشہ قائم رہتی ہے۔
 
شب معراج کو امت مسلمہ کو نماز کا تحفہ عطا کیا گیا جو خالق اور بندے کے درمیان براہ راست اور مسلسل تعلق قائم کرتی ہے۔ نماز محض عبادت نہیں بلکہ یہ نظم و ضبط، کردار سازی اور اجتماعی ذمہ داری کے احساس کا ذریعہ ہے جو ایک منصفانہ اور متوازن معاشرے کی بنیاد فراہم کرتی ہے۔
 
اس موقع پر میں قوم سے اپیل کرتا ہوں کہ شب معراج کے پیغام کو اپنی روزمرہ زندگی کا حصہ بنائے تاکہ ہم برداشت، قانون کی بالادستی، سماجی انصاف اور انسانیت کےلئے ہمدردی کو فروغ دے سکیں۔ ہم میں سے ہر ایک کو ایک ایسی ریاست کی تعمیر میں اپنا کردار ادا کرنا ہوگا جہاں امن، صبر اور اخلاقی اقدار ہماری قومی شناخت ہوں۔

 ایک ایسے وقت میں جب دنیا اور بالخصوص امت مسلمہ کو پیچیدہ فکری، سماجی اور انسانی چیلنجز کا سامنا ہے، شب معراج اتحاد، استقامت اور امید کا پیغام دیتی ہے۔ یہ بابرکت رات ہمیں یاد دلاتی ہے کہ مشترکہ چیلنجز سے صرف یکجہتی اور اخلاقی عزم کے ذریعے ہی نمٹا جاسکتا ہے۔

میں الّلہ تعالیٰ سے دعا گو ہوں کہ وہ پاکستان کو امن و سلامتی، قومی ہم آہنگی اور پائیدار ترقی عطا فرمائے اور ہمیں ایک مضبوط، باوقار اور فلاحی ریاست کے طور پر آگے بڑھنے کی توفیق دے۔

 الّلہ تعالیٰ ہمیں شبِ معراج کے پیغام کو سمجھنے، اس پر عمل کرنے اور اسے آنے والی نسلوں تک منتقل کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین
