President Dr. Arif Alvi was presented the Annual Audit Report for the financial year 2017-18 by Auditor General of Pakistan, Mr. Javaid Jehangir. 11/09/19

Islamabad, September 11, 2019: President Dr. Arif Alvi was presented the Annual Audit Report for the financial year 2017-18 by Auditor General of Pakistan, Mr. Javaid Jehangir, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Wednesday. During the financial year 2017-18, audit of Rs. 13,652.145 billion was conducted and Rs 127.279 billion was recovered. Highlighting the constitutional importance of the office of Auditor General of Pakistan, the President said that transparency had to be the priority of any government to ensure good governance.
