President of Jogye Order of the Republic of Korea Most Venerable Wonhaeng calls on President Dr. Arif Alvi 20/11/19

ISLAMABAD; November 20, 2019: The President of Pakistan received the delegation of the Most Venerable Wonhaeng, President of Jogye Order, the biggest denomination of Buddhism in the Republic of Korea, at the Aiwan-eSadr, Islamabad today. The President highlighted that Pakistan was a cradle of many civilizations and the Government was committed to promote tourism, especially, religious tourism, in which Buddhism had niche due to presence of a lot of Buddhist historic sites in Pakistan.
